Meet Zig, our fantastic Chihuahua who we saved from a high kill shelter when he found himself there as a stray. At approximately 3 years old and 7lbs, Zig is the most loving and laid back guy you'll ever meet. He favorite pastimes include naps under blankets, cuddling, collecting dog and cat toys in his bed, and treats -- lots and lots of treats. Since being in foster, Zig has really come out of his shell and loves human attention and affection. He also enjoys the company of cat and dog friends and greets everyone with a wagging tail. If you haven't been a Chihuahua fan in the past, Zig will make you fall in love with the breed. He converts everyone he meets! Zig is crate trained, does well on his leash, and is perfecting his potty training skills. Zig is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and heartworm negative.
