Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wally is a handsome 17 pound, 4 year old Shih Tzu. He has an unusually thick lush coat with a fabulous tail that draws many compliments. He came into rescue with some active skin allergies that were worsened by another dog in his home who constantly jumped on him and licked his face and ears. After receiving treatment from our veterinary dermatologist, Wally’s skin allergies are now under control and he is healthy, playing with toys and enjoying his daily walks. He is very alert, learns quickly, and is eager to please. Wally sleeps in his foster family’s bed with his foster mom and foster sibling dog. He likes to meet people and is good with other dogs. If you sit still for just a minute he will come and give kisses and roll over for the tummy rubs he loves. He has wonderful house manners, is house trained, polite, and very quiet. He bonds very quickly with people and has lots of love for his new family. He would do best in a quiet home with no small children.
Wally’s adoption fee is $320.00 plus Minnesota sales tax. His foster mom would like his new home to be within 50 miles of the Twin Cities and would like his new family to bring him to the Shih Tzu Rescue Reunion in June.
