My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Julie is a beautiful 7 month old Border Collie / lab puppy. She weighs 20 lbs now and we believe she will be a medium sized dog. Julie, along with her sister,Bethany, was rescued from a high kill shelter in TN. They were both on the euthanasia list for that very day!!! Julie LOVES everyone! She does not care who they are. Julie thinks everyone should love her, too! Such a personality. Julie has the most beautiful cream color with white. She has the cutest short tail. When Julie looks at you with those eyes, your heart just melts. She is very snugly and loves to be held. Julie is working on her potty training skills in her foster home and is almost completely trained.

If you are interested in giving Julie a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

Julie is living with a foster family in Tennessee. She will travel to her new home by professional pet transport once she has been adopted. We use a weekly transport to the northeast and a twice monthly transport to the Chicago / Milwaukee areas.

Julie's adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover the spaying, micro-chipping, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), vet examination, certificate of health and transport.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
