Hi People,
My name is Reggie and I’m a friendly, affectionate and fun-loving guy of five. Mom says I’m the happiest and most people-loving guy she has ever known. My aunties say that I have a handsome face, expressive eyes, am well-mannered and a great companion. (Can you tell they really like me?)
Since I got to Mom’s house I have learned to play. I love to play tug-of-war with my rope toy and play fetch with my doggy foster brothers. I tease and play with them now, although it took me a little while to get to know them. I also like to do all the things that little bichons like to do so please read on!
First there is walking. (You know bichons like to walk, right?) Well, when it comes to walking, I’m simply amazing. I throw my head up and swing my gorgeous tail and off we go! Mom says I seem to actually grin and smile the entire time we are on our walk, as I trot merrily along. I also happily greet any people we encounter - and am happy to stop and let them pet me.
Another bichon favorite thing to do is go for rides in the car. I LOVE to ride in the car. Want a buddy to drive to the beach? Ride to the park, across town or across the country? Then I’m the guy for you!
And then there’s people! I’m a natural when it comes to people. Mom says you could call me a party animal. (Silly mom.) Well she did have all these people over all week-end for something called a holiday. I thought she brought them over to just love and play with me. I greeted everyone with a smile and a wag of my tail – and hung out with them all week-end.
After my excursions, I'm always ready for a good snuggle. Mom says when I look at you with my big brown eyes and ask to snuggle you will absolutely melt – well at least she does! (And I’m not even trying that hard!) When it’s time to sleep, I like the couch or chair and am always a gentleman. I know some commands and am happy to learn more.
Mom says I don’t bark at people when we meet, am always happy to receive love from everyone- and have never met a stranger. Most of all I want you to know I’m a great walking and riding partner and a terrific companion to take to the park or beach! I would love to have a fur kid friend I can play with in the neighborhood. Mostly though I want my own people I can enjoy and be around me most of the time.
