Here's what the humans have to say about me:
2014-07-13: My name is Marley V, but I am nothing like that Marley from the movie, I am a total opposite and very well behaved. I am a yellow female, 4 years old, and I weigh about 80 pounds. I am a happy go lucky kind of girl and my foster parents say that I am extremely sweet. I will always greet you with my wagging tail – that is just the type of girl I am. My favorite thing in the whole world is to put my head on your lap for special head rubs. I will never say no to belly rubs either. I am a Velcro dog, I want to be as close as possible to my humans. My foster parents say that I am truly loving and affectionate and I really love my people.
I came into SCLRR from a local shelter and I was totally overweight at the time. My foster parents helped me lose weight so now that I lost about 27 pounds I feel awesome.
I would prefer to go to an active family that will exercise me regularly. I LOVE going out for walks or hikes. I would make a great jogging partner. I have decent leash manners. If I see another dog or a person coming my way I might get excited. I am pretty active and I love playing fetch as well. Once I’ve had my exercise for the day, I will settle down nicely for naps in my cozy bed, as close as possible from my humans.
I am the perfect house guest: 100% housebroken, I know how to sit and down and I go to my place when I am asked to. I love following around my foster parents through the house. I sleep quietly through the night in my doggie bed. I don’t have bad habits like chewing or stealing things.
I am good with other dogs and cats as well. Here at my foster home I live with one kitty and we understand each other. I am not a playful type of girl with other dogs but their presence doesn’t bother me. I just prefer to play with my humans.
I am very, very excited when my humans are coming home so I might jump on them a littlebecause of that I am told that I would go to a home with kids over the age of 10 yr old. I am also looking for a home where my new parents are not working very looong hours because my favorite thing in the entire Universe is to be with my humans.
So if you think I am the girl for you and have an approved home check let your family rep know Thank you…Marley
