These bubbly beagle brothers are Jake and Rocky, two happy guys that are only about 1 1/2 years old. Jake and Rocky came to us from our Newark facility in search of a great home of their own. They had a home, but were turned in when their owner could no longer care for them. Jake and Rocky were so shy and quiet when they first came in and just wanted to huddle close together on their bed, but now, they realized that they're in good hands and have completely come out of their shells. The boys are a barrel of laughs! They've put their past behind them and are looking forward to making a fresh start in life. Although Rocky is the larger of the two and seems to be in charge, when it comes to going for a walk, he seems a little more inexperienced and cautious of the leash. Once they get moving, they have a great time sniffing, checking things out, and just being curious beagles. They really enjoy their playtime in our exercise yard and are getting interested in toys too. Jake and Rocky were surrendered with another dog but they were less than cordial to him, so they would probably do best as the only pets in a home. They are so very bonded, so we'll be looking for a home for them where they can stay together forever.
