Meet the adorable and loving Jasmine. Jasmine is a spayed female, approximately 1 ½ to 2 years old, and 10 pounds. She was found as a stray.
Jasmine enjoys being around people more than anything! She will affectionately curl up in your lap and snuggle up next to you! It does take her a little time to warm up to men but once she does she is affectionate towards them! She will sometimes play and go on walks with her foster brother but would much rather be in your lap! By the way, Jasmine loves sleeping in the big bed and will happily snuggle up next to you at night!
She does really good with her foster brother, who is also a Bichon Frise, and other dogs she has met in our neighborhood. Jasmine will need another dog in the home with her.
Jasmine walks nicely on a leash using a harness. She does climb around when she rides in the car so she will need to be closely monitored. We have been working on basic commands such as sit, stay, and come and she is catching on wonderfully! She seems to be potty trained as long as she is able to go outside and relieve herself on a schedule. Jasmine is a good eater and never begs for people food! She loves to get treats and does a precious little dance on her hind legs when presented with one! Her hair had to be cut short from matting but once it grows out she will have a beautiful coat. She is sensitive around her mouth and the grooming of that area for she was on liquid medicine for a cough and wasn't fond of it. Jasmine has not yet been observed around children or cats. Children need to be over 10. Jasmine would do best with someone that is home a lot or works from home.
