My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Joey is a Take Me Home courtesy post. Joey is not affiliated with Take Me Home. She is not under our care. Take Me Home is not responsible for any adoptions through private parties. For more information on Joey please contact Alli at allybeeber@yahoo.com.

Joey (aka Josephine) was found wandering the streets of Los Angeles on her own. She was very skinny, dirty and, of course, scared but after a good night sleep in her foster home she perked right up and has been such a sweetheart ever since. Joey is a little under a year old and quite affectionate and definitely a loves to be in a lap. Joey also plays great with other dogs and, in fact, would be an amazing second dog, or doggie playmate, for a household since she gets along so well with other dogs and has a good amount of energy. Her dog playtime, even if there isn't another dog in the home (so play dates and dog park time), is something Joey loves. And she LOVES playing fetch!

Joey can be a little shy at first with new people but it doesn't take long for her to warm up... and she loves attention! Joey is doing well walking on leash and with her house training. She's great in the car too so if you want a dog that can travel with you, or go to work with you or just take to lunch, Joey is that dog. She will be an affectionate, playful and sweet addition to a lucky household. Joey also does well with the cat in her foster home.
