Likes:
Other dogs and cats, just wants to play with everyone
Playing with chew toys and stuffed toys
Cuddling/being as close as possible with her person
Going for car rides
Dislikes:
Being crated for more than a few minutes
Not having her human around her (separation anxiety)
The cold
Bugs is an itty bitty 5 pound Chi who loves to wear clothes and be with her people. This cutie has a lot to learn about life as she spent most of hers so far locked up in a shed.
Now that she is free and living in a Fuzzy Pawz foster home she has found that she loves to go places, meet new people and animals. She is very endearing and lovable; Bugs just wants to love and play with everyone and everything.
Does well with a harness and restraint in a car even for long drives. She’s not so great on a leash; she’s okay until you try to get her to go in a direction she doesn’t want to go then she, will fight the leash. More practice and she will excel at leash walking as she really does want to please her person.
Bugs is pretty mild mannered, not much seems to phase her. She is very high energy and very easily excited, always wanting to play. Somewhat vocal but not really "yappy." She is easily excitable and can get a little carried away when playing, nipping playfully on occasion.
She's on her way to being house broken, uses piddle pads fairly regularly. She sometimes lets you know she has to go by ringing a bell hanging on the door.
Bugs would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time – no kids under 15 please (she has abused by children in her past life). Bugs would also love to have another dog in her new home to play with. She is treat and praise motivated she will learn all you need her to very quickly.
