Brewski's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Brewski's Story...

Brewski is a very handsome chocolate Lab, who is about 3-4 years old and a big 75 lb. boy. He has clearly lived a life as a neglected, outside boy with no one to love him. Now Brewski is making up for lost time!! He is learning to be a pampered pooch, living the good life inside with lots of good food, toys and dog cookies.

Brewski is now a healthy Lab. He has been neutered, vaccinated and treated for heartworms. His coat is getting softer & shinier every day. Almost all of the old brittle, sunburned coat is gone. He is very well house broken and does not chew on anything that is not his toy.

Brewski was neglected for so long that he has become really attached to people. That means he can be clingy. His foster parents are working on this with him. Brewski will need an owner who is willing to continue to work with him to develop his confidence. He was painfully thin when he was first rescued. As a result, Brewski still eats like he is starving. He does not take treats gently, so he will not be a good companion to small children. Brewski is pretty curious about cats, but does not chase them.

If you are interested in providing a loving, forever home for Brewski, please complete our Adoption Application. Our adoption fee is $295.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brewski, a Coppell Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Coppell, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Coppell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Coppell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Coppell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Coppell paves the way for another one to be saved.
