My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Candice was picked up locally after neighbors had complained of a nuisance dog in the area. The local dog catcher had been by several times, but the dog always eluded them running back to one particular house. The owner of the house claimed to not own the dog so our rescue took the dog---actually a puppy into our group. The puppy had mange but nothing that a little TLC wouldn't fix. Later, we got a call from the "owner" who told us that she would be glad to take the dog back after we got the puppy well and clear of mange. Scumbag!
Such was the beginning life of our girl Candice. Candice is a female, Boxer mix puppy, approx 4 months old. She is completely clear of mange and has completed her vetting requirements. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, on all monthly preventatives, and very happy and healthy. She currently weighs approx 25 lbs and is growing. Beautiful coat in typical boxer colors. She is great with other dogs (fostered with a tiny puppy that weighs 3 lbs), cats, and loves people large and small. House broken! Thank you for looking at Candice.
