This handsome and sophisticated young man is Benzi, a 3 year old shar pei that came to us from our Newark facility in search of a great new home. Benzi had a home, but he was turned in when his owners could no longer care for him. This sweet boy came to us with some medical problems that were left untreated, but we have provided him with the care he needed to get well and he now has a clean bill of health. Benzi has put his past behind him and is eager to start over again. He is such a perfect gentleman, and he walks so well on a leash and is very polite. Benzi is a calm and cool guy that enjoys taking a leisurely stroll with a friend and when he's in our exercise yard, he prefers to calmly roam around and check things out, as opposed to playing with toys or running around. Benzi is very gentle and makes friends easily. He gets along well with people of all ages and also gets along with other well behaved dogs. This charming fella would love to be part of a great family that promises to love and care for him forever, and never let him go. File#23614 6/11/14
