Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"Jeannie" is a very sweet 2-yo spayed female GSD with an easy-going demeanor. Jeannie loves people and is great with kids. She presently lives w/ two 3-yo children. Jeannie gets along well w/ other dogs, and is quite playful w/ the 2-yo male GSD that she lives with. We have not observed Jeannie around cats, so I will only consider a home w/out cats for her. Jeannie has that much sought-after silver & black-colored coat, and weighs about 65 lbs.
Jeannie has great house manners and is inside most of the time that her foster caretakers are home. She is good on leash and rides well in the car.
Though Jeannie is quite mellow inside, she is quite energetic when it is time to play. She loves to swim and to run in open areas. She would make a good jogging partner.
A woman in Pleasant Grove--just a couple of miles from GSRSV's facility--found Jeannie wandering loose in September 2013. GSRSV took her in, and when it was determined that nobody was looking for her, brought her to a foster home in Brentwood. Jeannie was adopted just ten days later.
Jeannie's former adopter recently returned her because of some separation anxiety that she was displaying (damaged the dog door cover, was digging in the yard). Jeannie's former foster caretaker took her in on July 17, and tells me she's never seen Jeannie display any separation anxiety. She does recommend that Jeannie be placed in a home w/ another good-sized, active dog like her.
