Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet George!
George is a 1.5 year old purebred Cane Corso. He is great with children and extremely gentle with them. He loves going to the dog park to socialize. He has not shown any aggression towards other dogs or people. He respects his two-year-old canine foster sister’s space since Day 1. He does not go into her food bowl and he does not play with any of her toys. Such a gentleman!
He walks extremely well on a leash and his slobber is manageable compared to the other Mastiff breeds. George loves getting his jowls wiped off — he's such a goof!
Of course, nobody is perfect. George is a bit protective over his food. He eats every morning and it takes him all of two minutes to finish his food. However, during those two minutes he likes to enjoy his meal in peace and quiet. He knows to lay down and wait until told he can now proceed to eating. He can wait forever, which is impressive! His foster family has been working with him to overcome this habit, and he's gotten better! They hope that by continuing to work with him, it will completely vanish, and that his forever family will reinforce that training.
George would do well in any home. He loves kids, cats, and other dogs. He is crate trained and being taught that “in” means to go to his crate. He has a bit of puppy energy, but he is 115 lbs. so he tires out quickly! He is housebroken and has been taught to go in only one area of the yard in just a few hours. He is wonderful boy who deserves a wonderful home!
George's adoption fee is $250 and he's located in Milwaukee, WI. He will be neutered, microchipped and complete his vaccinations prior to adoption. Because all our Cupids are fostered in private homes, an approved application MUST be on file before proceeding with a meet-and-greet. The online application can be found at http://www.caninecupids.org/adopt-.html.

Our Thoughts on Visual Breed Identification
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable. For most of our adoptable Cupids we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We think it’s most important is to get to know each dog as an individual! We then do our best to describe each of our adoptable Cupids based on their personalities in order to determine whether they’ll make good companions based on prospective adopters’ lifestyles. Dog behavior is not exclusive to breed — it’s a complex mix of nature and nurture.
