Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Howdy, folks! My name is Hank and I am a young mixed breed Hound (the shelter staff guesses maybe 12-18 months and possibly a Basset and Dachshund mix) who lost his family. The nice man who found me took me in for a week to find my owners but had no luck. He told the staff how well behaved I was with his young kids and other dogs and that my only special need is that I am still a pup, so I will require lots of chew toys and probably to be crated or put behind a baby gate when you are away just to be safe. I even appear to be at least mostly potty trained but may need a week or two just to get down a routine with you. My adoption fee covers my neuter and microchip and I am heartworm negative, hooray! If you think I may make the perfect addition to your family, please come by and visit me from 12-6 daily at the Waggin' Tails Adoption Center in Benbrook. I look forward to making friends with you.
