Hello World,
We are Kipper and Kylie, a bonded pair of bichons. Our foster parents said to tell you that I, Kipper, am three years old and a bundle of love and energy and that Kylie is 17 months old - and a precious and precocious little girl. We weigh about 14 and 12 pounds respectively, are house-broken, smart and fully grown. (We aren’t quite as big as some of our bichon cousins but Mom says good things come in small packages!)
I am happy romping around playing by myself or wrestling and playing tug-of-war with Kylie. Uncle Bill says I’m also a bit mischievous as I like to ‘borrow’ the toys that Kylie has - and put them in interesting places. It’s a game I made up all by myself! Mom says I also love to play explorer dog – and the back yard is a perfect place for me to do that. I also like to go on walks (so does Kylie) and to ride in the car (so does she!) I also love to snuggle! I put my head on your lap and snuggle for all I’m worth (and that’s a lot! Both Kylie and I LOVE to be with people! (And we give great doggy kisses, too!)
Now for Kylie…. well Mom says she is a sweet little angel who is very affectionate, cute and and smart. Kylie is as fearless as I am – and as playful and funny as she can be. We race and chase and have lots of fun – inside and outside, there is no part of the world we don’t love! She does have this favorite toy, her stuffed monkey, that she likes to sleep with. When she’s not watching I kind of sneak over and… you get the idea. (It’s all in good fun, honestly!)
Mom says if you sit down to read a book or watch TV, Kylie will curl up next to you and stay there forever. There is no doubt that she has a very sweet, loving yet mischievous spirit. Mom says if you meet her in person, you will fall in love with her big brown eyes and all they communicate. (Well, I think she’s pretty cute too but I don’t know that her eyes are more expressive than mine, Come on now, Mom!)
Mom says that Kylie and I like to play with one another and anyone else we can engage! When we are finished with all that ‘rough stuff’, we lie down quietly and take a nap together in our crates! But we are hoping to get to sleep in the Big People’s Bed in our Forever Home.
Did I mention that we are great with kids (Mom says we love them) and other dogs? If you have another dog that may not play (much) we will find a way to encourage playing ‘cause that’s what we do with our doggy foster brothers. They find us irresistible!
