My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Teddy comes to us from the Philadelphia Animal Shelter after being found as a stray. This gentle, sweet, and well mannered boy was depressed upon arriving, showing us he was missing his family. It appears Teddy might've sadly been dumped despite his loyalty. Despite the let down that Teddy has endured he has regained himself and has shown us to be a wonderful boy. Teddy shows no interest in other dogs, and we feel it's possible he live with the right female. Teddy is gentle and loving. He takes treats gently and knows some basic commands. This beauty walks like a dream on leash, is housebroken, and crate trained. We feel Teddy can go into a home with children that know and respect the Akita breed. Teddy is a darling boy who will make a great family pet :)
