Casey Mae's Story...
My name is Casey Mae
I am a five year old female Labrador that was in the shelter when SCLRR came to my rescue. I was a staff favorite at the shelter so when my time was running out the shelter contacted SCLRR and lucky me they came to give me my second chance! Here are a few things you might want to know about me. First my favorite things are swimming and playing in water, and special time with my people for lots of love and belly rubs. My foster Mom says I am smart and quick to learn new things. I am a good girl in the house; I am not destructive and never have potty accidents. I like toys and am very playful. I have basic obedience skills such as sit and down and I am learning to walk better on the leash with the help of a ‘Gentle Leader’ leash. I am a big girl at 99 pounds but I am not overweight I am just a big girl. I am looking for a home with no children and preferably no other dogs. I prefer spending my time with adult humans.
If you think I might be the dog for you please consider sharing your home and life with me, I will be forever grateful and promise to give you all my love.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Casey Mae, a Torrance Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Torrance, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Torrance.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Torrance already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Torrance breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Torrance paves the way for another one to be saved.
