Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi Everybody!
My name is Maisie and I’m a darling little bichon of about one who weighs only 11 pounds. My foster Mom says I’m adorable and friendly – and that I actually smile because I’m so happy! She says I’m an extremely happy-go-lucky little ball of fun. I have these long legs that remind her of a little foal when I’m running (galloping!) around outside. Mom says I’m quite the explorer (and that she checks often to see whatever cute thing I’m doing.)
I have a nine year old human foster brother – and I just love him and his friends! Whenever I see children out on our walks I immediately start to wag my tail, as I would like to go and be with them.
I also have a doggy foster brother. He’s not a FurKid and he’s quite a bit older, but he’s teaching me patience. I’d love to get his attention so we could play together. Each day I try and try to entertain and engage him. I’m pretty darn adorable and persistent (according to Dad) and I haven’t prevailed yet. I DO keep on trying…
I’m also a cuddler and a lover - incredibly sweet, charming, and eager to please! I’m still very puppy-like. I love taking my chew toys and balls and chewing on them.
Before I became a FurKid, I was wandering the streets. I needed a hip surgery, so maybe that is why I was abandoned. Then BFK rescued me and I had this big operation. Since then, I have been getting better each and every day.
When I first became a FurKid I had been wandering the streets and had been hit by a car. Then I had this big operation and started to get better each and every day. Now I have recovered and am able to be a young, happy, beautiful little girl once again.
My BFK Aunties say that I’m always good company, like going for walks and rides in the car. I’m a little mischievous. I’m great with adults and children (never aggressive), and am learning my commands. I would be happiest in a home with people who are home most of the time so I can entertain, love and enjoy them. Another furkid is important too.
So if you like to go for walks and talks, and want a loving companion who likes to snuggle, please ask for me. I’ll be waiting to meet and adore you.
Tail wags and kisses,
Magical and Amazing Maisie
