Here is beautiful Ashya. What a wonderful combination: She is half Snowshoe and half Bengal. She has the off white coat with the dark seal points. She has stripes on her lovely face and diluted spots on her back. She actually looks like a Snow Bengal (the light coat with diluted spots and stripes) with an inverted V on her face and with a pink nose like the Snowshoe. She is absolutely gorgeous!
She doesn’t just possess physical beauty, but she is also very sweet and loves to be petted. She likes to sleep next to you, and sometimes next to your head. She can also be a little play monster. Ashya loves to play with fluffy little balls and she goes crazy with a string toy that has a mouse that makes noise and flashes its eyes.
Ashya has the easygoing temperament of the Snowshoe, making her a fine companion for older children and other pets. Affectionate and people oriented, the Snowshoe is an amiable and loving friend and companion. She not as vocal as her descended Siamese, but with her breed mix she got the intelligence, assertiveness and high energy of the Bengal. She gets along well with other cats, but she is still a little scared of her caretaker’s dog.
Ashya eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.

Please note that Ashya is not in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home but residing with her caretaker in Merced, CA. Her caretaker is willing to drive half-way to meet the adopter on the day of the adoption.
NOTE: We always require families with children to bring their children to the adoption appointment, so we can observe the child’s behavior and how the cat reacts. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
