Our policy is to reserve the cat-trainable dogs for those homes that truly require them. If you have no small animals, you will need to adopt a dog that is not deemed small animal trainable.

Exon is a wonderful guy. He's confident without being pushy and he's a sweetie. He can be stubborn at times when he doesn't to do something, so be prepared to be consistent and persistent. Watch him closely in the house initially as he may still have the urge to "mark" things. Exon did well in cat testing, but has never lived with a cat. He interacted well with the other greyhounds. Exon responded well when meeting Jack Russell Terriers, but caution should always be exercised with smaller animals, especially outdoors.

Two words easily sum up Exon: sweet and mellow. He has easily and quickly settled into retired life. He is laid back, low energy and easy going. He is very friendly and personable and has the happiest tail ever- always ready to wag! He ignores our cats and does fine with all the kids. So far, he seems to prefer the quiet life lazing inside, rather than exploring the yard or going for walks. He will playfully snatch a toy or random item and carry it off for fun, but has never chewed or destroyed anything. He is a big boy and decided early on that carpets and dog beds are comfy; he prefers life outside the crate. He is well mannered and is an easy and pleasant dog to have aaround; a super nice guy!!
