This beautiful little lady is Myia, a 8 to 9 year old shih tzu that would absolutely love a wonderful home of her own. Myia came to us from our Newark facility, when she was turned in by her family who could no longer care for her. Myia was a bit distraught to be uprooted from the only home she had ever known and taken to an unfamiliar place, but as soon as she walked through our doors and was greeted with open arms, she got the spring back in her step and found her tail-wag again. She's been dancing around ever since, literally. It seems Myia is a bit of a dancer and walker. She is known for standing on her hind legs and walking around a bit, looking for some attention that will earn her a treat or scratch behind her ears. She is so loving and affectionate, and just wants you to love her back. Little Myia is just a little darling. She is super polite and well behaved, and very ladylike too. She is easy going and very mellow, and just enjoys so much to be with people. She makes friends very easily and doesn't even seem to mind other well behaved dogs. This little dancing doll is so deserving of a fresh start in life with a loving, caring family that promises never to let her go again. File#23790 8/7/14
