Petey is an utterly adorable, 18-month-old, 13-pound, male Poodle/Bichon-mix looking for a loving guardian.

Petey is living in a foster home where he gets along with the other dogs and cats in residence. He is a goofy, happy, smart and energetic guy.

Petey just loves to play. He is doing great with his housebreaking and he is crate-trained. He has already learned the command sit and is continuing his training.

Petey was rescued from Chicago Animal Care and Control. We don't know what his past was like but he is a charming fellow who will not hesitate to show his teeth and growl if cornered or at the groomer's. So, he is looking for an experienced dog-lover willing to go slow and work with Petey's guarding behaviors.

Petey is very healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative.
