Amy's Story...
I am a gorgeous , gentle cat , right at a year old. I stayed in my cage at pet adoptions and was very patient with little kids and let them rub my head to no end. I just want out of this cage and a nice bed or window sill to call my own. Just how much purring do I have to do to get you come see me?
the shelter is located at 650 John Howell Memorial Drive in Lincolnton. 704 736 4125. Open M-Sat 11 to 4:30. All cats are just 85.00 to adopt and that includes their spay or neuter , vaccines, including rabies , microchip and even 30 days of free insurance! Once you pay the adoption fee, I am then taken to the vet to have more work done. Then you pick me up there .There is a very family friendly cat interaction room in our newly remodeled shelter. Don't delay, these cats don't have forever.Every cat that gets a home means one more could be moved up to the adoption room.. Please hurry and adopt me. thank you ! photo courtesy of Mary Whisonant

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amy, a Lincolnton Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Lincolnton, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Lincolnton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincolnton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincolnton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincolnton paves the way for another one to be saved.
