Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Reggie, a sweet, quiet, 11 year old Yorkie. When he was brought to the shelter by his former owners, he was badly in need of a dental cleaning. His teeth have been cleaned now, and he lost all but six of his teeth. Reggie has a chronic cough due to a collapsing trachea. This is a common issue for elderly, small dogs. Sometimes the cough gets so bad it causes him to lose control of his bowels and bladder. The vet said if it gets worse, he will need surgery to correct it. He also has severe arthritis in his spine and hips.
Reggie gets along well with people and dogs. When he gets excited, he has a cute, tiny bark. He is not yet house trained, but he and his foster mom are working hard on house training. Reggie needs a comfortable and loving home to live out his golden years. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all of his vaccinations. His adoption fee is $200.00.
