Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This sweet sweet little boy, lost his owner and is now looking to spend the rest of his life with some one new.
Chase is 8 years old and spent his whole life as a companion for an elderly person. He is great with all people but be warned this boy loves to get up and give kisses and lots of love!d
He is well-trained and is not use to being alone for extended periods of time. His exposure to children has been limited, but we think older children would be fine for Chase.
Chase was treated very well during his life and is just happy, happy, happy.
.
He had surgery on his front right leg when he was about 2 (the ligaments did not grow with his bones) and does have some arthriti but that doesn't keep Chase from having some great fun!
He is a little uncertain around other dogs but does settle in as long as they are fairly calm. Currently he is living with another dog is gets along great. He is cat friendly too.
He has been trained to poop only when walked (on purpose so that he would help his Senior owner to keep her walking as she got older) so does need his 2 walks a day (one very early in the morning, the other late afternoon). Other than that, he is happy in a yard or just chillin' on the couch.
Do you have the love to give this little guy? If so contact us for an application!

No Borders Animal Rescue Society (NOBARS)
We are a registered non profit society. All our dogs are vaccinated, sterilized and are fostered in homes with families.
NOBARS believes that a dog is best assessed for a new home environment by living in one!!!! Therefore we do not use kennels, but have a network of approved foster homes where our dogs can be properly assessed before being offered for rehoming. Our foster homes offer a varied range of experiences which means we can choose an appropriate foster home for each dog, but it also means our dogs are able to experience situations which are invaluable to owners looking to take on a new forever friend, such as children, cats and other dogs.
