Hi there! They call me Stinker, as in "you're such a stinker!" I don't know what that means but I am a kitten on the go. I love people, cats, kittens, dogs - everyone! I was found outside, starving. I was desperately trying to grab food from a group of adult community cats. In fact, I was so hungry that this nice lady simply picked me up and put me in a cat carrier. It's been a spoiled life ever since. I adapted quickly to indoor life. I love it! I am very active and playful, but I also have an affectionate, cuddly side. I like to snuggle and have my neck scratched. I love to play and to nap with other animals. I will enjoy a home with other kitties, so I have companionship and someone to play with. I was born June 10, 2014, and I use the litter box like a good girl. I know that I never want to be outside again! Please make me your newest family member and apply today! Adoption fee: $100. Registration opens at 4 p.m. Game play begins at 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome. We will have food, raffle table, 50/50, adoptable pets, Scentsy sale, pet vendor and more! The bar will be open for drink purchases too. If you haven't played BUNCO, which is a very simple and super fun dice game, you haven't lived! It won't take you but a moment to learn the game and away we go, laughing, playing and raising money for the homeless pets of Paws for Life. See you December 7th in Rochester!
- Third Saturday of Every Month in 2015: Adoption Event at PetPeople, 6520 Telegraph Rd., Bloomfield Hills. From noon to 4 p.m., come meet adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens (as available). Adoption event dates for 2015: January 17, February 21, March 21, April 18, May 16, June 20, July 18, August 15, September 19, October 17, November 21 and December 19.
Adoption and Foster Care Application
Adoption Process:Complete the application at
www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
