Here's what the humans have to say about me:
It can be a true challenge to find a dog that is both trustworthy and so loving with absolutely everyone. Fletcher the Schnoodle (Schnauzer/Poodle mix) fulfills these personality traits... and so much more. Schnoodles are loved by just about everyone... for their Poodle part that is so smart and learns skills so quickly and the Schnauzer part that is silly, engaging and so much fun to spend time with. Either way...simply adorable describes Fletcher! This sweet and kind guy was a last-minute save in Texas...as is evident by his need for added weight. No worries — young healthy dogs like Fletcher can pick up weight quickly and before you know it he'll be perfect. Farfel's Rescue felt so strongly that Fletcher had to be rescued. Perhaps it was his exceptional temperament with every age group, or maybe his great and contagious positive attitude. Fletcher has the most adorable face... his dark, shining eyes speak of his great nature and his desire to be given a chance for a new life. Fletcher was accepted Farfel's Rescue without question...he's a gift to a family who has the love to give and desire to to spend time with him. Fletcher is so sweet and cuddly that he can easily wear the role of best friend. At 2.5 - 3 years old and 6.6 pounds, Fletcher is the perfect size to be a lap dog, as well as a guy you can scoop up and bring along on any adventure.
He'll always be there when it's time to play or snuggle...but never overbearing, Fletcher has the self-confidence to go off on his own. He loves to enjoy the sunshine be it on a walk or finding a sunny spot at home. He is very happy quietly chewing a toy or lying close for a belly rub. But when it's time to get going...Fletcher is the first to enjoy a walk, playing in the yard or a car ride to a dog-friendly spot. Fletcher is flexible and easygoing. We want his spirit to be nurtured with people's time and companionship. He would be the star of a positive-reinforcement training class..always wanting to please. Training could be a whole family affair to promote bonding and a better understanding of each other.
Fletcher is a non-shedding guy with cotton-soft hair. He'll therefore require periodic grooming and great nutrition to keep his coat healthy and matt-free.
Fletcher will arrive on transport in Denver on 8/29/2014. Applications are currently being accepted for this exceptional companion and can be found at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/. If interested, please fill out and return to farfelsapps@gmail.com.
