Meet Brody!
Brody is a three-year-old Chihuahua/Boston terrier mix who is not only sweet and happy, but also full of energy and whip-smart! He's potty trained, crate-trained and came to Canine Cupids with a few tricks up his sleeve, including "sit," "give paw" and "sit pretty for a treat." His foster mom says Brody fetches like it's his full-time job! With the help of his foster mom, Brody is adding "lie down" and "roll over" to his repertoire.
Brody is learning the importance of good manners when playing with others and is working hard at walking nicely on a leash. His ideal family will understand that, with all smaller dogs, there's going to be a period of adjustment as he gets used to his new surroundings. Brody has been around cats and does fine with them, though he may love them a little too much sometimes! He's fine with dogs but needs help tempering his excitement to play -- he does well one-on-one with dogs his size.
This sweet little man can't wait to cuddle with his new family -- will it be yours?

About Canine Cupids
Canine Cupids is a rescue in Milwaukee that is comprised of volunteers who have been fostering for various organizations and volunteering at our local animal control. Canine Cupids focuses on Milwaukee’s homeless dogs, but will always help a dog in need when we can — regardless of location.

Our Thoughts on Visual Breed Identification
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable. For most of our adoptable Cupids we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We think it’s most important is to get to know each dog as an individual! We then do our best to describe each of our adoptable Cupids based on their personalities in order to determine whether they’ll make good companions based on prospective adopters’ lifestyles. Dog behavior is not exclusive to breed — it’s a complex mix of nature and nurture.
