Tipper's Story...
Hello World,
My name is Tipper – and I’m a talented and gorgeous 3-year-old Bichon/poodle mix, about 19 pounds of fun with long legs, beautiful brown eyes and amazing long black eyelashes. Mom says I’m the kind of guy who loves to be loved- and that I’m a very friendly boy who likes to greet people and play with other furkids.
Dad says I get an A+ for being a good housemate and companion. He says I pay close attention to everyone around me -- and am happiest when I have a lap to curl up in.
Both Mom and Dad agree that I like to ride in the car. I look around, check out the scenery then immediately settle down and nap. They say that makes it really nice to take me places.
Since I’m a new furkid, there will be more information about me in the next few days, In the meantime, though, Mom says to tell you that I have one trick that works really well: I look deeply into her eyes and nudge her hand with my paw so that she will pet me and scratch my head. She says I do that in the most gentle of ways – and with the sweetest and most contented expression on my face! I’m just happy that she understands how much I want to give and receive love – you see I’ve got some time to make up for!
So please check back so you can learn more about me.
Top of the Day to you!
Totally Terrific Tipper

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tipper, a La Costa Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in La Costa, or seeking a Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in La Costa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in La Costa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a La Costa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in La Costa paves the way for another one to be saved.
