My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Ginger. I am a super, SUPER sweet, affectionate, orange tabby cat with pretty green eyes. I am very unique because I'm a girl and most orange tabby cats are boys. I am so happy to be out of the shelter and in a foster home. I am a little chunky, but once I find my forever home and can get more exercise, I should be right back into shape. I purr and roll around and just love being petted. They say I am a senior kitty, but I don't think so. I don't even know what that means, but I know how I feel and act. I am laid back and mellow, but loving and friendly. I'm not sure yet if I like other cats or dogs, as I just got pulled from the shelter and my foster care mom is still learning all about my favorite likes and dislikes. I am just so grateful to be out of a cage. I like to sit in the window and check things out, watching the leaves blow and the squirrels in the tree. I am spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, FELV/FIV negative and front declawed. Please give me the home of my dreams. Adoption fee: $60.

Adoption and Foster Care Application

Adoption Process:
Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
