This 2 yr old handsome boy is shy with strangers...but when he warms up to someone he attaches quickly. He is a sable color and a tweenie. About 19 lb. short and stocky. He would love to have a home with a lady where he could be her special friend. He absolutely adores the female gender. Charlie has shown no aggression and is social with another dog as long as its not dominant toward him. Constantly wanting attention, he must feel deprived of it when younger. Accepts men but really prefers women. Charlie needs structure, firm, but gentle. He accepts a crate short term for a ride, but really likes to be on the sofa with his human ,being held, petted and kissed. He hides in his carrier in a new situations. But, when he decides you are cool, he is such a love bug. Prefer a retired couple with lots of time for him.

FEARS OR ATTACHMENTS ATTACHES TO A FEMALE OWNER..VERY DEVOTED, LOVING ALLOWS KISSES, PETTING SHOWERS WITH LOVE.....SOME SLIGHT SEPERATION ANXIETY WHEN LEFT THAT DOESNT LAST LONG, KONG WITH PEANUT BUTTER CALMS HIM DOWN...OK ON A LEASH, CRATE TRAINED, POTTYS OUTSIDE...CAUTIOUS WITH STRANGERS NOT RECOMMENDED WITH YOUNG CHILDREN OR LOUD ENVIRONMENT.
