NEW INTAKE, MORE INFORMATION FORTHCOMING
Elvis came into rescue with his Husky sister and littermate, Jewels. They were both picked up as strays by animal services and, for reasons unknown to SHRF, were not reclaimed by their owner.
He gets along with other dogs and is very friendly with people he meets. He also travels well in the car. Like many Huskies, he is an escape artist, always on the lookout to run free.
While living on their own, Elvis and his sister had to resort to hunting ducks, pigeons and other small animals for sustenance. Since their natural prey drive was initiated they should not go to a home with other small animals.
This is one of those rare occasions for us at SHRF where we would ask anyone who may be interested in adopting one of these beautiful animals to seriously consider adopting both Elvis and his sister, Jewels. They are littermate brother and sister (technically twins even though they do not look alike) and have never been separated for their entire three years of life. They even share the same bowl at the same time.
In appreciation of adopting and keeping both dogs together, SHRF will accept an adoption donation of $350 for the pair as opposed to the normal $250 each for separate adoptions.
Elvis is healthy, neutered, Heartworm negative, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped. Being new to rescue, look for more information to come.
