My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Messi, I am a male lab mix puppy. I am 13 weeks old and I weigh in at 25 lbs. I am a typical puppy, I like to play and chew on the toys my foster mom gives me, then cuddle with you and take a long nap! I came from a shelter in southern IL with 6 of my siblings, and currently live with my brother Balotelli. My foster mom says that I am the “boss” of the litter. In my new foster home I get to play with three two-legged stepsiblings, my brother, and my three four-legged stepbrothers. My stepbrothers are bigger than me, but that doesn’t hold me back. I spend most of my days wrestling with my brothers or rolling around on the grass outside. I really like to be outside. My human brothers named me after a famous soccer player because I love to carry around a soccer ball, and will chase one as long as you kick it for me! I am working hard with my house training, and my foster mom says I only need a little more practice. I go outside often, and run right to the grass to take care of business. I get to sleep with my sisters out of the crate because we are all doing so well at night. I need work on leash walking, but my foster family loves to exercise so they promise to work on that with me daily. Please consider adopting me…I would love to meet my new forever family soon!!
