MAGGIE's Story...
My name is Maggie. I'm approximately 1 1/2 year old chocolate lab/Chesapeake bay retriever mix and weigh 40 pounds. My cute under bite makes me look like I'm smiling at you all the time. I love playing with other dogs, good with children and don't mind being around cats. My coat will be beautiful once I get the TLC I deserve, I am already starting to look & feel better after leaving the shelter and have moved to foster care. I would make the best family pet as I'm crate-trained, house-trained and so very sweet! If you have any questions about me, please don’t hesitate to contact my foster mom, Alecia Clark @ 901-486-2850.
Maggie's adoption fee of 300.00 includes her spay, vaccinations, microchip and transport to her new home! If you would like an adoption application for Maggie, please email Blues City Animal Rescue at baversa1@gmail.com. Thank you for choosing rescue. Please visit us and like us on Facebook!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MAGGIE, a Nashville Chesapeake Bay Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chesapeake Bay Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Chesapeake Bay Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chesapeake Bay Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Chesapeake Bay Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
