Bloom's Story...
Hi, I'm Bloom. As you can see, I'm a beautiful lab mix girl. I love to snuggle with people all of the time. I like to play with toys and other dogs and my big brother, but if you give me a chance to snuggle with you, I would rather do that. I'm very smart. I know several commands already. I am fully crate trained and am a great car rider! I love my foster family and all the fun people, dogs, and cats they have, but I would love to have a forever home with a human all of my own.

Bloom is a Black Lab mix, approx.10 weeks old, approx. 18 pounds, good with cats, dogs and kids and of course super sweet! To adopt Bloom get your app in here: http://www.southernskiesrescue.org/adoption-application/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bloom, a Huntsville Labrador Retriever/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
