Bessie's Story...
This beautiful Lab mix girl is ready to find her forever family! Bessie is a typical teenager pup - but she'd rather spend her time with you being rubbed on or snuggling rather playing with her toys! When she is ready to play, her go-to toy is her rescue rope or her kong. She is great with kids, dogs & even cats! She is house trained, crate trained & currently working on leash manners.

If you're interested in adopting Bessie, please visit our website at www.c2cnd.org & click on "adoption process" to fill out an application! Adoption fee for dogs of all ages is $200 - this covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, heartworm test (if old enough to be tested & treatment if necessary), and spay/neuter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bessie, a Charlotte Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
