Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Reenie is a sweet cat, but when there are visitors she gets nervous and wants to hide. She needs an adopter that will be patient and is willing to build a relationship with her as her foster mom has.
Hi, my name’s Irene! My foster mom calls me Reenie for short. She also says I’m not a kitten, but I think she is WRONG. Just because I’m not tiny anymore doesn’t mean I’m old. No way! I love to play and play and play. Cat races and wrestling matches with my foster brother are lots of fun, but he’s a bit lazy and older than I am so once he’s done playing I’ll find a good cat toy to play with. I’ll chase my toys up and down the hallway talking to them the whole time. My foster mom says I sound silly, but I’ve got to let those toys know who is boss somehow! I also live with a big dog that likes to chase cats. I don’t let her stop me from playing or coming out for snuggles. I’m trying to teach her that I am boss, but she just doesn’t seem to get it. Cats are so much smarter than dogs. When I’m done playing and trying to teach the dog to behave I go straight to my foster mom for snuggles. At night, I’m a good cat and just curl up by her feet to sleep.
Adoption fee: $50.
Irene is spayed, vaccinated (rabies & fvcrp), tested for FELV/ FIV with negative results, microchipped and treated for parasites.
Irene is in a foster home in Glen Burnie, MD (Anne Arundel County).
