MVP Gemini has a sad story. He was adopted out of a shelter as a puppy and they promptly put him on a chain for two years. During that time, he injured his back leg, and by the time they relinquished him BACK to the shelter, his leg could not be saved and was amputated. It has healed nicely, and he quickly and graciously learned how to be an inside dog and member of the family.

He DOES know basic commands, is fine with all other dogs and people, but so far, not good with small furries, including cats. This is attributed to his life on a chain and constantly seeing them, but never being able to investigate. This MAY be able to be overcome with training. What we have learned about our handsome boy is he is a kind dog, mellow dog who is very grateful for a warm bed. And he LOVES children. Would snuggle with them all day if we let him. He is currently living with two other dogs and children and does great! Such a good boy. And for our Buckeye fans, he has the state of Ohio on his rump...which we promptly matched with an OSU collar.

Gemini's adoption fee is $200. All MVPC dogs are heart worm tested, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, crate trained and microchipped.
