My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Simba is searching for his forever home. He is a 2 year old, 55lb french bull dog/english bulldog mix. Its hard to see in this picture but his ears stand up like a frenchie. We think Simba would benefit from losing a little weight. He was surrendered in Houston, TX because his guardians couldn't afford to get a cherry eye surgery done. You can see them in the picture above. Simba had the cherry eye surgery on 10/4 and is recovering well. We can't get any new pictures because he is wearing a cone. Simba is a goofy boy who loves all people. He knows his name well & will come running to give you kisses when you say it. He loves to lay down with his legs straight out like a frog! Simba is a typical bulldog and snorts his way through the house. He is fully housetrained. Simba likes long walks & cuddling up on the couch. When it comes to other dogs, Simba is unsure. He is okay walking side by side and doesn't react to them on the sidewalk but when he in a house he wants to be the only dog. This could probably be worked through with training because he is okay with them in other scenarios. Simba is truly a special guy who has been through a lot in the past few weeks. We are very excited for him to be fully recovered from his cherry eye surgery and start a new life here in Colorado.
