Hi, I am Hank, a super cute, 12 lb, neutered male Jack Russell Terrier mix. I am about 2 years old with a beautiful white coat with tan spots and ears. I am friendly but I need a little time to get to know you before you pounce on me. I like to sniff you and make sure you mean me no harm before we get to the touchy feely stuff. Once you have passed my test, we can be buddies. I am a very energetic guy. I love to play but I am a little hard on those plush toys. I tear them to pieces. My perfect home would be one where people are home during the day. I would much rather be free to run around and play than cooped up in a crate. I will go in my crate if I have no choice but I will cry a little. A fenced in yard where I can run and play would make me so happy. A little doggie pal could be fun too. I love to go for walks and am really good on my leash. I don't pull and I have a very cute little prance if I do say so myself. I need a little refresher in housetraining. I have had a few accidents. I am very selective about where I do my business outside so you need to be patient. Good things come to those who wait.
I have been okay with the resident cats here (they are pretty dog savvy). I am interested in them and like to sniff but I don't chase. My foster mom doesn't know how I am with kids yet but would guess that I would do okay with older kids.
I am up to date on all shots, neutered, negative for heartworm and Lyme disease and microchipped.
