Nani's Story...
Nani is a white Siamese mix. He is shy but sweet. He was rescued from south of Chicago along with Nanuq. Nani and Nanuq are a bonded pair and must be adopted to the same home. They are such good friends we want to see them stay together!

Their fosterer writes about their great personalities: “Nanuq is a bold and curious cat! We often come home to find him looking out the front window waiting for someone to come home. He loves to play and get head and tummy rubs. He and Nani are very close – often smushing together to sleep in their bed. But have no doubt Nanuq is the alpha cat! He will try to get in front of Nani for petting and is the first to come running for treat time. He also isn’t bothered by dogs and goes nose to nose with our puppy!

Nani is as gentle a temperament as his picture looks. He is soft and sweet, willing to get picked up and cuddled. He takes a little longer to come out but then jumps right into playtime.

The two together make a perfect match. They keep each other company but then let their individual personalities shine when people are around.”

Please contact us at hydeparkcatsadoptions@gmail.com if you are interested in meeting the lovely Nani and Nanuq.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nani, a Chicago Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
