Cece is an adorable 2 year old West Highland Terrier mix who found herself at a shelter, got adopted, then returned after 6 months because the owner said she would not stop pottying in the home. Well 2 days in a Fuzzy Pawz foster home and that is no longer an issue - all Cece needed was someone to be patient with her and she was happy to do whatever they wanted.
She gets along great with other dogs and is a little shy around cats. She seems like she wants to play with the cat in her foster home, but as soon as the cats make eye contact, she runs away. Cece LOVES a good game of fetch in the backyard!
Cece is very loyal to her foster family, but very shy towards strangers; it takes her a bit of time to warm up to someone new. She doesn't like loud noises or sudden moves and if you reach for her quickly and she doesn't see you she will snap at you. This girl appears to have been treated roughly by human hands at some point in her life. Because of this no children under 15 in the home please; she would do best in a quiet, calm home where she can be lavished with love.
She will always let you know if someone is knocking on the door; she is very alert to the comings and goings of the house. Cece is house trained if you remember to take her out and also crate trained; she will stay in her crate all night without a peep. Her foster family has been making sure to take her out on a schedule and it is working with a charm; Cece has never figured out how to signal that she needs to go out.
If you are looking for a dog that will cuddle with you and fall asleep on your lap; a companion in the car/rv/etc she is the girl for you! Cece will take a bit of time to adjust to a new family but once she settles she is your best friend for life.
Cece is spayed, microchipped and current on all vaccinations. Cece was also recently groomed.
