Nipsy's Story...
Nipsy is a three/four year old long haired chihuahua that was rescued off the streets of South Central. Nipsy is truly one of the dearest and sweetest dogs we have ever rescued! She loves all people and is great with other dogs. Nipsy has a broken leg that was never treated. She was most likely hit by a car. The good news is her leg can be fixed and she will be having surgery next week. Nipsy is not in any pain at all from the injury and dances her way through life. This happy girl is microchipped and UTD on shots and will be spayed when her leg is repaired. We are looking for an. Exceptional home for this exceptional dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nipsy, a Santa Monica Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Santa Monica, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Santa Monica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Monica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Monica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Monica paves the way for another one to be saved.
