Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Brody is a lovely, sweet calm senior aussie who was returned to us because a new family member developed severe allergies to him. Brody is 13 years old and is looking for his last home. He has had an extensive medical workup and has no health issues at all.
From his Foster Mom 10/10/14:
Hello Everyone! This is one of my most special dogs I have been honored to foster. Brody is almost 11-1/2 years old but don't let his age fool you! (He fooled the vets they thought he was 7 or 8) He is in excellent health and is a black-tri with soft silky fur! Brody came from an unfortunate situation with his owner passing away at such a young age. She had him as a puppy and then she passed away in her early thirties. Brody thought they would grow old together and her passing has been a heart-break that he is slowly coming to terms with. He is very loving and gives kisses on command. He knows how to sit and lay down. He does not have to be crated and his house trained with never having an accident in the three weeks I have had him. He is a little bit of a table surfer but if I was dog I would probably be one too! He will need to go to a home with a experienced owner. In his last home he was dearly loved by his owner but may have had a bad experiences with a man that has made him guarded. He is not like this with all men. In fact he loves my husband and lays on his side of the bed every night when we go to sleep. Brody is cat and kid friendly! He loves to hang out with my son and husband curled up next to them. I was told he may have issues with bigger dogs or more dominate dogs. I have a passive dog that they have never had any issues. I have introduced him to several other dogs with the same out results but a dog with a stronger personality may pose an issue which I have yet to see but have been told. This awesome dog deserves a place he can lay his head down at night and know he will be retiring there! He is extremely sweet and loves to lay by your feet! Did I tell you he is a great foot warmer he is? He gets very excited when you come home! He will bark and go in circles excited to see you. He is very much young at heart. He loves walks and is excellent on a leash. We have taken him camping a couple of times and he loves to roll around in the grass soaking up the sun as he relaxes by the lake. I could keep rambling which I will do of course later but I am excited to see him find his forever home!
