Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rusty is a 7 year old (will turn 8 on Oct 22) neutered male. He is friendly with strangers, house trained, and good with other dogs. He was an owner surrender that was turned into ARM due to their lack of time and attention to him and due to his behavior toward litters of kittens at their home. He has been fostered with dog savvy adult cats and so far seems fine with them. Rusty will come when called when off leash and likes to stick close to his people. He has bonded quickly with his foster home family and loves attention. He is calm in the house and respectful of the rules. Right now Rusty dislikes being crated and will bark for a while to show his displeasure but that behavior is lessening since we have been ignoring him when he barks. His former owners said they left him loose in their house all day while working and that he was well behaved. Rusty may be a bit older but he has plenty of love and energy left to give to his new family.
