My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Opie is a super special guy who is between 6-7 years old. He was living on the streets for at least 3 years in survival mode before he gave up and started staying on a kind persons front porch (they called the rescue for him). Despite all of this, he has a heart of gold. He is fully house trained, good in the crate, gets along with other dogs and tries to get the cats to be his friends... He is simply adorable and wants to love and be loved.

Opie has an old injury to his front left paw and he keeps his weight off of it about 80% of the time. This does not stop him or slow him down. He has mastered the stairs and he even will jump around a little when super excited. He even went on a short walk recently and loved it.

Opie wants you to know that he IS handsome  and his fur in growing in so soft and dense. He says he loves to give kisses and likes treats. He is learning to sit like a good boy too! He also says he is learning to like car rides but big trucks are hard to get into because of his paw, however, that doesn't stop him from wanting to go with his foster mom every time she leaves the house.

Opie is a true love who deserves a new lease on life in a fuever home where he will be loved. Please consider opening your home to this very deserving and kind boy.
