Here's what the humans have to say about me:
While we don't believe in playing favorites among our adoptable dogs, we sure do think Mia is extra special! At approximately 4 years old and 45 lbs, this pocket Boxer girl is the total package -- absolutely beautiful with an amazing temperament! We rescued this quiet lady from a high kill shelter when she came in as a stray. Likely used as a breeder and discarded once she was unable to have more puppies, the minute we saw her, we knew we had to save this throw away mama. Now spayed and enjoying being royally spoiled, Mia's favorite activities include walks around the neighborhood, playtime with toys and napping on comfy dog beds. Mia is very low key and is happiest being with her people but she would gladly share her home with another low key canine, large or small. She is also a perfect lady in the car, knows basic commands and is crate trained and housebroken. Like we said, she's the total package! Mia is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped. If interested in Mia please fill out an application at ruffstarthappytails.org
