Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Spur is a 2-3 year old Jack Russell Terrier mix who weighs around 25 pounds. This guy was rescued from a shelter in Kentucky, where he spent a month of his life. I can't believe no one wanted this sweet goofy guy!! Although Spur initially marked, he is no longer marking inside at all, at his current foster home or else where there's another dog and a cat. Spur also gets along well with other cats and enjoys playing with them. His main pastimes are snuggling, playing for a few minutes a day, chewing bones, and more snuggling. He's a very quiet dog until he needs to go out and then he lets you know with the cutest growl/bark. He runs free when his foster is gone or stays in his crate. He gets along with his foster bother, other dog friends, cats, older kids, and even strangers.
Spur absolutely loves most humans and has no trouble running right up to them and offering a friendly greeting or taking up residence on a human's lap. However, Spur recently decided to let us know that he may not be fond of all small humans. He has some small humans he is quite fond of and loving with and he has some small humans he is not too sure about. The extent of his uncertainty was that he nipped at a child and everyone was shocked because he is generally such a loving little dude. We aren't sure what happened in Spur's mind, but we think it best that he finds a home with older children (8+) who are confident around dogs and or a home with no children.
