Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Nene is our one year old PBGV look-a-like. Nene is SUPER SWEET! Does NOT shed and is extremely loving!! Nene was rescued from a high kill shelter in Memphis, TN and was just too skinny. Her foster family is certainly taking care of her. She has all the food she wants and treats, to boot! Nene loves all other dogs and play with several at the rescue! She is very friendly and LOVES everyone! Nene will snuggle under the covers if cold outside or just loves to be held. This little girl will make your heart melt when you meet her. Nene is housebroken.
If you are interested in adopting Nene, you may go to our Facebook page and download out adoption application under the "Notes" section. Here is the link: www.facebook.com/pages/MAR-Mercer-Animal-Rescue-501c3/374149832631589
You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly with questions about the dogs @ 901-651-6322 or Angela with questions about our adoptions at 203-909-8861.
Nene's adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover the spaying, micro-chipping, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), vet examination and certificate of health. Nene lives with a foster family just outside of Memphis, TN. She will travel to her new family by professional pet transport once she has been adopted. We use a weekly transport to the northeast and a twice monthly transport to the Chicago / Milwaukee / Minneapolis areas.
Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
